There will be a 41-gun salute in Green Park to mark the Colombian State Visit.

His Excellency President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon and Mrs Maria Clemencia Rodriguez de Santos will enjoy an Honour Guard at Horse Guards Parade from 11.45 AM to 12.30 PM, before being escorted up The Mall to Buckingham Palace by the Household Cavalry.

Whilst all of that is going on, the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery and Band of the Royal Artillery will be assembling in Green Park to deliver a 41-gun salute at 12.10 PM. So if you hear some (very loud) bangs then don't worry — we're just honouring (and deafening) the Colombian President.

Note: Another gun salute will be taking place at the Tower of London at exactly the same time.
