Lot's of people would be embarrassed about liking model railways, but not me. I've even got a choo-choo train bedspread and a pair of Thomas the Tank Engine pyjamas -- but please don't tell anyone that I said that for chrissakes, because I'll never live it down.

If you are like me, and love train modelling, then get yourself down to the Ally Pally for the London Model Engineering Exhibition -- the UK's premier modelling event where over 50 clubs and societies gather together to display over 2,000 models.

The exhibition will have everything from model trains and railways, to tanks, trucks, boats and fighter planes. There will also be plenty of small scale model and remote controlled racing cars.

There will also be plenty of stalls where you can purchase tools and modelling equipment from specialist suppliers.
