The long-running "War Horse" show has closed in London now, but you can get another fix with this screening of the Steven Spielberg movie at the Petrie Museum.
It tells the tale of Albert, who is left distraught when his beloved horse is called up to carry packs at the front. It's not long before the horse finds himself in the thick of the enemy fire, and ends up stranded in no man's land. Albert is too young to enlist to save him, but you can't break the bond between a man and his horse (apparently), so he sets off on a mission to bring him home.
Note: This movie is a tear jerker, so you might want to bring some tissues.
