If you know someone who's new to astronomy and you're looking for a truly memorable experience for them, then how about spending an evening at the Royal Observatory? It's an exciting night for experienced old-hands as well -- because where better to a bit of star-gazing than the home of British astronomy?

Your ticket will include a planetarium show exploring the stars on show that night, plus some time at the prime meridian with a hot drink in hand — looking out across London from the top of Greenwich Hill. You will also have an opportunity to look through the 18-tonne Victorian telescope.

Note: If the weather prevents observing (rain, cloud or high winds) then you will receive a presentation by one of the astronomers instead. No refunds will be given. These evenings are suitable for adults and children over the age of 7.
