It's been forty years since punk first burst onto the British music scene, and the British Library will be celebrating the anniversary with a special exhibition exploring its impact. (An exhibition at the British Library? You can't get more punk than that!)

Beginning with the Sex Pistols in 1976, it explores the remarkable influence the movement had, not just on music, but also on the worlds of fashion, art, and politics. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of fanzines, flyers, recordings and LP sleeves, including items from England's Dreaming: The Jon Savage Archive.

Note: This exhibition contains adult content.
