John Nelson will be conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall, with violinist Yi-Jia Susanne Hou.

They will be performing some classical music by Berlioz, Saint-Saens, Dvorak and Chen Gang/He Zhanhao.

Performers:

Yi-Jia Susanne HouYi-Jia Susanne Hou is a Canadian violinist who uses a 1735 Guarneri del Gesu, once owned by the great Fritz Kreisler. She has been hailed by Sir Yehudi Menuhin as “one of the greatest young talents of the future”.

Royal Philharmonic OrchestraThe Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is the resident orchestra at Cadogan Hall and was founded by Thomas Beecham in 1946. Subsequent Principal Conductors have included the great André Previn, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Charles Dutoit.
