Sakari Oramo will be conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, with pianist Steven Osborne and ondes martenot Cynthia Millar.

They will be performing two works by Messiaen: "L'Ascension" and "Turangalila Symphony".

As well as working closely with the BBC, the BBC Symphony Orchestra plays regular concerts at the Barbican and is the principal orchestra of world-famous Proms Concerts, giving around a dozen performances each year, including the prestigious First and Last Nights.
