Simone Young will be conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, in a performance of Bartok's "Concerto for Orchestra" and Peter Eotvos's "Senza Sangue" (UK premiere).

As well as working closely with the BBC, the BBC Symphony Orchestra plays regular concerts at the Barbican and is the principal orchestra of world-famous Proms Concerts, giving around a dozen performances each year, including the prestigious First and Last Nights.
