Director -- Christopher Wheeldon
Written by -- Craig Lucas
Music and lyrics -- George Gershwin, Ira Gershwin

The award-winning "An American In Paris" has been hailed as "a perfect integration of dance, romance and classic Gershwin”", and features some of George and Ira Gershwin's most timeless tunes including 'I Got Rhythm', 'They Can't Take That Away From Me' and, of course, 'An American in Paris'.

It tells the story of Jerry Mulligan, an American GI who is trying to make it as a painter in a city bursting with possibilities. After a chance encounter with the beautiful young dancer Lise, Paris becomes a backdrop to his sensuous romance, in a city still struggling with the aftermath of war.
