Join the conductor Christoph von Dohnanyi, tenor Robert Dean Smith, baritone Matthias Goerne and the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, as they perform a selection of classical works by Schubert and Mahler.

Schubert -- Symphony No.8 in B minor (Unfinished)
Mahler -- Das Lied von der Erde

Christoph von Dohnanyi’s fame stems largely from his time with the Cleveland Orchestra in the USA, which spanned a very productive two decades. His later work included stints with the Philharmonia and NDR Symphony Orchestra in Germany.

The Philharmonia Orchestra is based at the Royal Festival Hall. Widely regarded as one of the world’s great orchestras, they have an extraordinary recorded legacy.
