Uh-oh... aliens are coming to London to blow us all up!

But don't worry... it's only a movie. It's not real. The Royal Albert Hall will be screening 'Independence Day' in high-def, alongside a live orchestral performance of David Arnold's score.

In case you are the one person on planet earth who still hasn't seen the movie, it tells the story of how Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum saved us all with a little help from that bloke in 'While You Were Sleeping' (I can never remember his name). But most of the credit has to go to Randy Quaid -- who heroically gave his life by flying into a bright green beam.

The screening will be proceeded by a talk from composer David Arnold, who will discuss his work on this, and also his music for 'Sherlock', 'James Bond', and the London Olympics closing ceremony.
