Director -- Matthew Dunster
Written by -- William Shakespeare

"Imogen" is Shakespeare's "Cymbeline" renamed, reclaimed and refocused into a modern and visceral new production.

It's an achingly beautiful tale of lovers and families being re-united after a harrowing separation.

When Imogen enrages her father by marrying against his will, lies are dripped into her new husband's ears, and he decides that she must die.

Will Imogen be able to fight for the life that she deserves, and not the one that is being chosen for her?

The Globes Theatre's season runs from April to October. Craig has been to see a play himself and thoroughly recommends it. It's not like any other theatre that you have been to. It's open-air for a start, and it has a standing area in the middle. The actors actually use this area for some of the scenes, and involve the crowd as if they are part of the cast. Check out Craig's review before you go, so you can get a feeling for what it's like inside.
