Daniel Harding will be conducting Hakan Hardenberger and the London Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall.

They will be playing a selection of works by Rachmaninov, plus a UK premiere by Mark-Anthony Turnage.

Performers:

Daniel HardingDaniel Harding conducted his first Proms concert at the age of 21 and is now Conductor Laureate with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. He has also held the post of Principal Conductor with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre de Paris.

London Symphony OrchestraThe London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
