Join conductor Ilan Volkov, soprano Rachel Nicholls and the BBC Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, as they perform a selection of classical works by Schrecker and Rachmaninov, plus a world premiere by Nicola LeFanu.

Schrecker -- Nachtstuck, from Der ferne Klang
Nicola LeFanu -- The Crimson Bird, for soprano and orchestra (world premiere)
Rachmaninov -- Symphony No 3

As well as working closely with the BBC, the BBC Symphony Orchestra plays regular concerts at the Barbican and is the principal orchestra of world-famous Proms Concerts, giving around a dozen performances each year, including the prestigious First and Last Nights.
