Conductor Sakari Oramo will be leading the BBC Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Schmitt's "Antoine et Cleopatre" at Barbican Hall, with Shakespearean readings by actors from the Globe Theatre.

As well as working closely with the BBC, the BBC Symphony Orchestra plays regular concerts at the Barbican and is the principal orchestra of world-famous Proms Concerts, giving around a dozen performances each year, including the prestigious First and Last Nights.
