"Beautiful" tells the story of Carole King, the chart-topping music legend who sold her first hit when she was just seventeen. By the time she was twenty she was writing No.1s for some of the biggest music acts in the world including The Drifters, The Shirelles, The Monkees and Aretha Franklin. But what drove her to step into the spotlight and find her own voice?

"Beautiful" follows King's remarkable career from school girl to superstar, her relationship with her husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, and their playful rivalry with fellow songwriters Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.
