Rufus Wainwright has been hailed as "the greatest songwriter on the planet" by none other than Elton John, and hails from a very musical family -- his parents are the folk-singing Kate McGarrigle and Loudon Wainwright III, and his sister Martha has found equal success in the pop charts.

Now he's all set to release a Best-of album called "Vibrate: The Best Of Rufus Wainwright", and begins a European and UK tour in March. The show at Theatre Royal Drury Lane will be his only London date.

Theatre Royal Drury Lane is London’s oldest theatre, dating all the way back to 1662. Its latest incarnation contains an elegant staircase, a chandeliered salon, and one of the finest auditoriums in the world. Its pit and three tiers of balcony seats accommodate about 2,200 people.
