Join Jack at the Pleasance Theatre as he road-tests some new material for an upcoming tour. It's been six years since he last tried his hand at stand-up, so why is he touring again? "Because I want to spend less time with the family," says Jack.

If you like this, here are some more comedy gigs at Pleasance Theatre

Pete FirmanPete Firman at Pleasance Theatre – 29th June 2013
Pete Firman’s hilarious “Jiggery Pokery” and “Hoodwinker” shows were such a success at the Edinburgh Festival that he took them on a national tour. Now you can see a preview of his next Edinburgh Show — “Scoundrel”. Firman’s brand of magic includes amazing feats and a rapid rate of top-notch gags that will leave you dumbfounded for days!

David BaddielDavid Baddiel at Pleasance Theatre – 7th July 2013
David Baddiel’s “Fame: Not The Musical” is his first proper stand-up show for 15 years. Our society is obsessed with fame, but who will talk honestly about what it’s really like? David Baddiel will! The show is as much a thought-piece as a comedy act, with David presenting ideas and stories about fame, and our culture’s love of celebrities.

Richard HerringRichard Herring at Pleasance Theatre – 25th July 2013
Richard Herring will be giving a special Edniburgh Fringe preview show at the Pleasance Theatre, entitled “We’re All Going To Die!” The show will tackle the undiscovered country of death, from whose bourn no traveller returns (apart from Jesus and that canoe bloke). Death is inevitable, so let’s laugh in its face while our hearts are still beating and our jaws are still attached to our face.
