The Noel Coward Theatre will be putting on a production of William Shakespeare's enduring story of young love.

The plot for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" revolves around two sets of couples whose complicated love lives are complicated still further by the arrival of Oberon and Titania -- the King and Queen of the Fairies.

Lysander loves Hermia, who herself loves Lysander. And Helena loves Demetrius, who used to love Helena but now loves Hermia. When Hermia's father insists that she choose Demetrius, Hermia runs off into the forest with Lysander, where Oberon and Titania are having their own battle of love.

As the real and unreal worlds collide, romance struggles to survive and unlikely unions are forged.

The Noel Coward Theatre is a Grade II listed building near Leicester Square. The theatre seats around 870 people on four different levels, and takes its name from the great English actor, composer and playwright.
