The all-singing, all-dancing "Hurly Burly Show" is coming to the Duchess Theatre with Miss Polly Rae in the lead role.

"The Hurly Burly Show" fuses the traditions of bawdy cabaret and burlesque with modern day music and popular culture. Boasting some spectacular sets and costumes, the beautiful Miss Rae and her six Hurly Burly Girls tease the audience with a journey full of wit, joie de vivre, and love of the female form.

[This show is not recommended for children, and may contain some nudity.]

The Duchess Theatre is one of the West End’s smaller venues, seating just under 500 on two different levels.

Fences“Fences” with Lenny Henry – 19th June to 14th September 2013
Following his critically acclaimed performance as Othello in the West End, Lenny Henry is back as Troy Maxson in August Wilson’s “Fences”. Troy once dreamt of becoming a successful athlete but was denied his shot at fame, and now he plods through life in Pittsburgh. Resentful of a world that stole his chance of glory, he takes out his frustrations on his loyal wife and son.

Resistable Rise Of Arturo UiThe Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui – 25th September to 7th December 2013
“The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui” is a funny take on the rise of Hitler in Nazi Germany, whose rise is shown in parallel with Ui’s. Set in 1930s Chicago during the Great Depression, Ui and his mob of gangsters loom large, running protection rackets in the markets, the docks and across the city itself. You might be with him, or you might be against him — but can anyone actually stop him?

And here are some more musicals…

A Chorus Line“A Chorus Line”, at the London Palladium – 19th February to 13th July 2013
“A Chorus Line” is coming to London… auditions are underway for a brand-new musical and it’s the chance of a lifetime… Based on a series of true stories, “A Chorus Line” uses song, drama and stunning choreography to tell the story of the auditionees, as they describe the events that have shaped their lives.
