Mark Watson's face is finally getting noticed on the telly with stints on "Never Mind The Buzzcocks", "Have I Got News For You" and "Mock The Week". In fact, he's getting so well known that recently someone successfully posed as him and took all his money. It made him think about the power of the Internet, his identity, and how he can stop crime forever and make the world a better place... and some other smaller matters.

He has now finished thinking about these weighty things and is ready to present his findings in his brand new show.

Mark Watson is a comedian and novelist. He started out with the Cambridge Footlights and saw success at the Edinburgh Festival. He is a regular panelist on TV comedy shows and has written four comedy novels. He has also appeared in his own Radio 4 series "Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better".

Pete FirmanPete Firman at Pleasance Theatre – 29th June 2013
Pete Firman’s hilarious “Jiggery Pokery” and “Hoodwinker” shows were such a success at the Edinburgh Festival that he took them on a national tour. Now you can see a preview of his next Edinburgh Show — “Scoundrel”. Firman’s brand of magic includes amazing feats and a rapid rate of top-notch gags that will leave you dumbfounded for days!

David BaddielDavid Baddiel at Pleasance Theatre – 7th July 2013
David Baddiel’s “Fame: Not The Musical” is his first proper stand-up show for 15 years. Our society is obsessed with fame, but who will talk honestly about what it’s really like? David Baddiel will! The show is as much a thought-piece as a comedy act, with David presenting ideas and stories about fame, and our culture’s love of celebrities.
