The "Invisible Art" exhibition will bring together works of art from the past 50 years that explore ideas related to the invisible and the hidden. Many of the works will seek to turn our attention towards the unwritten rules and conventions that shape our understanding of art, whilst other works will emphasize the important role that our imagination must play in responding to works of art.

Artists in the exhibition include Robert Barry, Maurizio Cattelan, Jay Chung, Song Dong, Tom Friedman, Tehching Hsieh, Bruno Jakob, Yves Klein, Lai Chih-Sheng, Gianni Motti, Yoko Ono and Andy Warhol.

The Hayward Gallery features a wide range of paintings, sculpture and visual art, alongside temporary exhibitions by well-known artists.
