As singer of the Spencer Davis Group, Steve Winwood was responsible for big hits like “Gimme Some Lovin’”. After joining Traffic and Blind Faith with Eric Clapton in the late-60s, he finally set out on his and came up with era-defining songs like “Valerie”, “Higher Love”, “Back in the High Life”, and “Roll With It”.
