Hyde Park Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park – 22nd November 2013 to 5th January 2014
Hyde Park will be transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland this Christmas. Soar 60-metres into the sky on a giant observation wheel, enjoy the clowns and acrobats in Zippo’s Christmas Circus, and meet Father Christmas in the Christmas grotto. If that’s all too much for you then take a leisurely stroll through the Magical Ice Kingdom, with 200 tons of real ice and snow!
Gun salute, for the Duke of Edinburgh’s birthday – 10th June 2014
There will be a 41-gun salute by the KTRHA in Hyde Park, on the Park Lane side, to mark the birthday of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

Benjamin Britten’s “Peter Grimes” – 29th January, 1st, 6th, 8th, 14th, 21st, 23rd and 27th February 2014
The disturbing story of prejudice and persecution is set in a small fishing village on the coast. Fisherman Peter Grimes already has an uneasy relationship with the other locals, and when his apprentice dies the community assumes that he is guilty. Britten’s haunting score rolls around with the churning sea and the changing moods of the landscape, resulting in an opera full of menace and beauty.
