Simply Red star Mick Hucknall is returning to the Royal Albert Hall for his first solo concerts, in support of his new album "American Soul".

It's been two years since he called time on one of the most successful bands of the 80s and 90s, and now he's looking back on the songs which have inspired him throughout his life, including such classics as "I Only Have Eyes For You", "I'd Rather Go Blind" and "That's How Strong My Love Is".

Support will come from Ren Harvieu.

The terracota-coloured Royal Albert Hall is one of London’s favourite concert venues. Whilst it remains most famous for classical music and the annual Prom concerts, it also holds rock and pop concerts, sports events and award ceremonies.
