No Christmas would be complete without a visit to see Tchaikovsky's classic ballet "The Nutcracker".

As midnight chimes a magical Christmas tree starts to grow through the ceiling, marking the start of Clara's journey to the Sugar Plum Fairy's retreat in the Kingdom of Sweets. The magnificent Toytown battle that follows, her battle with the Mouse King and romance with the handsome Prince will leave a festive glow long after New Year's been and gone.

The Royal Opera House is one of the world’s great opera houses. The Grade I listed building seats 2,256 people and has four tiers of boxes and balconies. It is home to two of Britain’s foremost classical companies – the Royal Ballet and Royal Opera.
