The London Coliseum will be putting on a production of one of Verdi's best-loved operas, "La Traviata", which follows the story of Violetta, who abandons her happy lifestyle for love, and ends up making the ultimate sacrifice.

With 2,359 seats the London Coliseum is one of the largest theatres in London. The Grade II listed building is home to both the English National Opera (ENO) and the English National Ballet – two of the country’s foremost classical companies.

La BohemeLa Boheme at London Coliseum – 7th, 12th, 15th, 19th, 22nd and 29th June 2013
“La Boheme” follows the story of two couples: the poet Rodolfo, who falls in love with pretty seamstress Mimi, and the painter Marcello, who enjoys the company of an on-off mistress Musetta. The opera’s exploration of the joy, anguish and heartbreak of young love, and its succession of passionate arias and duets, makes this the ultimate romantic opera.
