Cadogan Hall will be hosting a series of Chamber Music Proms as part of the world famous BBC Proms. Today's programme features a sequence of music inspired by the age-old myth of the power of music to heal the venomous bite of the tarantula spider. It will include works by Falconieri, Kapsberger, Kircher and Soler.

Cadogan Hall is a popular venue for classical music in the heart of Chelsea. As an old converted church, the intimate stage has pew-like stalls on the ground floor and balconies up above. It seats around 900 people.
