The Princess Diana Memorial Playground can be found in the north-west corner of Kensington Gardens, a short walk from her home at Kensington Palace.

Over 750,000 kids enjoy this playground very year, clambering all aboard the huge wooden pirate ship that rises from the middle. The magical space was inspired by the tales of Peter Pan, and contains everything from swings and slides, to Indian teepees and a sand-pit beach, surrounded by lush green trees and plants.

[Note: Only children under the age of 12 can use the playground. Unaccompanied adults are only permitted between 9.30 AM and 10 AM.]
