Jo Brand will be hosting the New Variety's New Act of the Year Awards at the Bloomsbury Theatre, introducing the winning acts and a selection of the best finalists, including Patrick Cahill, Mark Stephenson, Adams & Rea, Bobby Mair, Mark Simmons, Mae Martin and The Fabulous Russella.

Bloomsbury Theatre is part of the University College London, and has a distinctly studenty feel. The auditorium seats around 530 people, and offers a mixed programme of music, comedy, drama, and dance. There is also a small art gallery in the foyer.

Some of Britian’s top comedians are coming together at the Bloomsbury Theatre in support of the mental health charity ‘Mind’. “Laugh Till It Hurts” will feature Marcus Brigstocke, Danny Bhoy, Matt Richardson, Brendon Burns and Tony Law. The night will be compered by John Moloney.
