Conductor David Hill will be leading the Bach Choir and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, as they perform Beethoven's "Piano Concerto No.5 Emperor" and "Symphony No.9 Choral".

First established in 1875, the Bach Choir has long been regarded as one of the world’s leading choruses. The choir’s musical director is currently David Hill, who occupies a spot once held by the great English composer Vaughan Williams.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) was founded by Thomas Beecham in 1946. Subsequent principal conductors have included the great André Previn and Vladimir Ashkenazy.

The terracota-coloured Royal Albert Hall is one of London’s favourite concert venues. Whilst it remains most famous for classical music and the annual Prom concerts, it also holds rock and pop concerts, sports events and award ceremonies.
