The Courtauld Gallery is putting on a special exhibition which follows the friendship that developed between Piet Mondrian and Ben Nicholson -- two of the leading forces of abstract art.

Using major paintings and reliefs by both artists, its explores the parallel paths that Mondrian and Nicholson charted during the 1930s in their Hampstead studios.

The Courtauld Gallery houses one of Europe’s finest collections of impressionist and post-impressionist art, with works by Cézanne, Gauguin, Monet and more.
