This exhibition will consist of 150 20th-century photographs which take London as their primary subject. The exhibition gathers together some of the biggest names in photography, exploring the ways in which foreign photographers saw the subject in their own unique and distinctive ways.

Artists on show include Bill Brandt, Henri-Cartier Bresson, Bruce Davidson, Elliot Erwitt, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, Germaine Krull, Alving Langdon-Coburn, Marketa Luskacova, Dora Maar, Irving Penn and Willy Ronis.

Tate Britain is home to a huge collection of British art from 1500 onwards, and includes works by David Hockney, Bacon, Blake, Hogarth, Gainsborough and Constable. JW Turner’s works are housed in their own gallery – the Clore Gallery.
