Events in London – 9 May

Need some inspiration for 9th May? The superbly named Colonel Blood swiped the Crown Jewels out of the Tower of London on this day in 1671. Why not visit the Tower and see them for yourself? We don’t recommend trying to copy him, though – he only got as far as the river before the Yeoman Warders caught him.
