Events in London – 2 May

Need some inspiration for 2nd May? Henry VIII imprisoned Anne Boleyn on this day in 1536, ostensibly for treason but really because his eye had started roving again after she failed to produce a son. Why not visit her prison: the Tower of London? While you’re there you can see her execution spot on Tower Green.
