Mondrian || Nicholson: In Parallel

to Courtauld Gallery The Courtauld Gallery is putting on a special exhibition which follows the friendship that developed between Piet Mondrian and Ben Nicholson -- two of the leading forces of abstract art. Using major paintings and reliefs by both artists, its explores the parallel paths that Mondrian and Nicholson charted during the 1930s in their Hampstead studios.

Guided tour of Mansion House

to Mansion House Learn about the history of Mansion House, and how it has been used by previous Lord Mayors. The tour includes many of the public rooms, as well as the Harold Samuel Collection -- a collection of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish paintings by masters like Frans Hals, Nicoleas Maes, and Jacob Ruisdael.

The display will tell the complete story of the medals from start to finish, from the mining of the metal to the creation of the designs, to the final casting at the Royal Mint.
