to Royal Opera House The Royal Opera House will be putting on a production of Verdi's "Il trovatore", which includes the famous "Anvil Chorus".

Abstract Expressionism — Royal Academy of Arts4 December“Abstract Expressionism” will feature works by celebrated artists like Kline, Pollock, Rothko, Newman, Still and de Kooning.

Paul Nash exhibition — at Tate Britain4 DecemberTate Britain’s Paul Nash exhibition will show works from his entire life, from his earliest drawings up to his iconic war paintings.

Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear4 DecemberThe Victoria & Albert Museum’s ‘Undressed’ exhibition will explore the history of underwear from the 18th-century to today.

Peter Pan panto, at the Greenwich Theatre4 DecemberGreenwich Theatre has chosen “Peter Pan” as this year’s panto, which tells the tale of Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook.

“The Lion King” — music by Elton John4 DecemberBased on the Oscar-winning Disney movie, “The Lion King” tells the story of Simba and his adventures in the jungle.

Christmas panto at the Lyric Hammersmith — Aladdin4 DecemberThis year’s Christmas panto at the Lyric Hammersmith will be have magical carpet ride to the mystical east, in “Aladdin”.

Painters’ Painters — at the Saatchi Gallery4 DecemberThe Saatchi Gallery’s “Painters’ Painters” exhibition showcases the work of nine artists who are inspiring the next generation.

Evensong Mass at Westminster Abbey4 DecemberYou can enjoy a choral Evensong service at Westminster Abbey for free, which combines a traditional mass with a choir.
