Events in London – Tuesday 2 July

Need some inspiration for 2nd July? John Cade’s peasant rebellion entered London on this day in 1450, angry at the heavy taxation and seizure of their land by the nobles. Cade was finally caught and killed ten days later. You can learn some more about the history of the city at the Museum of London.
