Events in London – Friday 15 February

Need some inspiration for 15th February? Britain officialy changed over to decimal currency on this day in 1971. The old system had 20 shillings to a pound and 12 pence to a shilling, meaning there were 240 pennies to a pound. You can remind yourself of all these old coins and notes at the Bank of England Museum.
