Events in London – Sunday 11 August

Need some inspiration for 11th August? Waterloo Bridge was officially opened on this day in 1942. It is sometimes called the Ladies’ Bridge because it was largely built by women during World War II. The most famous bridge in London is a bit further up the Thames – Tower Bridge. If you’re lucky you might be able to photograph the drawbridge opening.
