London music venues
Ronnie Scott’s in Frith Street, Soho, is the best jazz club in London, and one of the most famous in the world. It has featured the likes of Bill Evans and Nina Simone, as well as Ronnie Scott himself.
It mainly plays American acts, but has a whole host of up-and-coming unknowns in support.
- JerrySmith – “Without a doubt the best jazz venue in London, and a great night out. Where else can you sit in comfort and eat a great meal while watching a famous jazz performer on the stage literally just a stone's throw from your table? I have been here many times (more times than I can even remember), and although the prices are not cheap, when you compare it to other nights out in London it compares very favourably indeed. My advice.. Check out their websites calendar for the next famous name, and book yourself a table .”
