One New Change Good for kids? Value for money? free Worth a visit? 303

One New Change is No.8 in our Top 10 list of things to do for free.

We wouldn’t normally list a shopping centre like One New Change in our tourist guide, but this one is a little bit special… because if you ride the glass elevator all the way to the roof then you will be treated to a magnificent view of St. Paul’s Cathedral across the road.

The panoramic view looks out across the city rooftops all the way to the London Eye, but the real treat is the Cathedral. You get an unobstructed view of the back end of Christopher Wren's masterpiece – a view not normally seen in the guidebooks.

The roof terrace also has its own cafe selling early morning breakfasts, lunches, dinner, and a bar for when evening comes.
