Hermitage Rooms

Museum exhibitions in London: March April May June July

The Hermitage Rooms at Somerset House are an adjunct to the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, which regularly rotates pieces from its vast collection.

The museum’s exhibits all naturally carry a Russian theme, and the rooms have been modelled on the ones in the Imperial Winter Palace. As an easy way to see some Russian art, without the threat of ending up in the Gulags, it can’t be beat.
