The Cambridge Theatre sits between Shaftesbury Avenue and Covent Garden. The Grade II listed building is decorated in an attractive 1930s art-deco style, and seats around 1,200 people on three different levels.
patrick – “This place is pretty small, one of the smallest west end places I’ve been in. But that is alright though, I didn't mind, because I went to see chicago and you want to be close to see all the lovely ladies cavorting around in not a lot of clothes. I was sitting a few rows from the front and its like sitting in front of the tv at home -- that is how close it is to the stage. I could have been up and on the stage in five seconds. Inside I dont think its that great, most of the other theatres ive been to are a lot posher looking and more upmarket. But who cares? When the show is good all you want is a good seat where you can get a good view.”
